Customer Review: Fun Had By All
This is a great game to play in a group, both individually and/or in teams. I had this game shipped to my daughter's dorm room at NYU and she now hosts Cranium Nights! The game requires a certain amount of luck, strategy and skill, and the participants need to be able to make fools of themselves in order to act out the various loopy challenges. OUr family is very competitive and this is our favorite board game (other than scrabble)! Hope you enjoy it as well! Cheers!
Customer Review: Good improvement over original
Cranium Turbo edition is a great improvement over the original. The main advantages are that the whole game tends to move faster, largely because you don't get stuck on one color space like you could in the first version, and great new categories that encourage more team members to participate. Good examples are the marionette-like charades, and a team-based Gnilleps (in contrast to the single player based type). Lastly, Humdingers are much easier now, using many youngsters' songs that more people will recognize (e.g., The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round) and not obscure pop songs.

The only con I have to mention is the timer. I'm not a big fan of electronic devices to needlessly simulate dice and a sandglass, but some of my friends think that it is an improvement.

Customer Review: fabulous game!
I bought this game to use with small groups of young (3rd grade and up) students, but have ended up using it with adults, too! Everyone loves this game. While it doesn't have any inherent conversation value (important in an ESL lesson) it can be easily adapted by asking about the choices that have been made. Yet another Cranium success!
Customer Review: cranium whoonu game
A fantastic & fun game for the whole family. Even 5 yr olds can join in! Easy & fun to play, but gets you thinking too! I highly recommend this game.

Cranium Cariboo - A Magical Treasure Hunt Game

Cranium Cariboo - A Magical Treasure Hunt Game 3 years & up. Magical treasure hunt game that reinforces four early learning fundamentals: letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Includes Cariboo Island game board, six treasure balls, two sets of cards (beginner and advanced), one key, a treasure chest, and rules sheet. For 2 to 4 players.
Customer Review: Great for kids Preschool to Middle School
I've played this game with my students, from preschool to middle school. The game helps preschoolers learn colors, shapes, and numbers. Middle school students love how fun it is. An excellent game!!!
Customer Review: Toddler's first game...
This was purchased as my 3 year old grandson's first game. He loved it from the moment it was taken out of the box and played it non-stop for almost 2 hours. The game is simple enough for a 3 year old to understand the concept, and the opening of the doors to find the brightly colored balls provides instant gratification. I am sorry to say that as much as Ethan loves the game, the main piece needed to play it, namely the "key" to open the doors, is not sturdy enough. As much as Ethan loves to play with this game, the tip of the key broke off, and now the game cannot be played. I am very disappointed, as is Ethan.

Cranium Wonder Works Super Story Recorder

Cranium Wonder Works Super Story Recorder Create outrageous stories with your own voice using the Super Story Recorder from Cranium WonderWorks. Answer questions with wacky words and funny sounds, then listen as the Super Story Recorder mixes everything into surprisingly hilarious one-of-a-kind tales. Requires 4 "AA" batteries (not included).
Customer Review: My 7 year old loves this!
I bought this for my second grade daughter for Christmas after she had played with a friend's. She LOVES it and can sit for long periods making up funny stories (mad libs style). Her friends come to play and they LOVE it too. It really captivates their imaginations while encouraging their use of vocabulary, which is a primary focus at this level in school. Cranium has such a knack for coming up with educationally sound toys that are fun and durable too. A+ in our book!
Customer Review: Creative and Fun!
I love this toy! My 7 yr. old little boy loves it too. He enjoys answering the questions and thinks the stories are funny. His twin brother, who is not as fond of toys like this, even enjoys it. They like being able to pick the story from the numerous selections on the dial. It is compact and can easily be taken on long car rides, especially nice for those children who are prone to getting carsick since there is very little looking down. It has 3 volume levels. Children who like to listen to stories and enjoy participation in stories will love this.

Cranium

Cranium For 4 or more players

Cranium is an amazing party game that brings friends and family together through 14 fun and riotous activities. You won't believe what your friends and family can do as your team hums, whistles, sketches, sculpts, acts, puzzles and even spells backwards to win.

Cranium's outrageous activities are organized into four card decks: Creative Cat will have you sketching, sculpting with clay and even drawing with your eyes closed. Star Performer asks you to hum or whistle a tune, impersonate a celebrity or act out a clue. Word Worm requests you unscramble words, spell challenging ones, guess definitions, fill in the blanks and even spell backwards. Data Head stimulates your gray matter by testing your knowledge of trivia with provocative true/false queries and challenging multiple choice questions.
Customer Review: Great game (with some limits for families with kids)
We really enjoy this game at our house. We've played it a number of times with different guests and we always have a lot of fun with it. There is a lot of action between drawing and acting and singing. The only problem is that since my kids are in their early teens, there are just way too many songs that they don't know. We handle that by splitting teams so each team has a mixed generation. When I know that the kids won't know a song, then we just pull another card. The sculpting and drawing and charades are probably our favorite part.

Over all, I'm really glad we bought this game. We have loads of fun, squealing and laughing as we rush to beat the timer. I would recommend this as a great way to spend time together.
Customer Review: It was a lot of fun!
The very first time this game was played in our home was at a family gathering and only the teenagers played. They were able to put down their cell phones and ipods long enough to enjoy face to face time with other family members. They had so much fun that they wanted to play again and include the adults (go figure!). After that it became a favorite for family nights and at family functions. It challenges you with words (word scramble, meanings, and spelling), trivia questions, creativity (drawings, sculpting with clay) and performing (acting like a famous person, charades). You never know what you have to do next!

Customer Review: Great fun for all.
Wow! This game had us all laughing, shouting, moving, and thinking. A very dynamic and fun game that is good for small gatherings, but works better as numbers increase. Small children might not be the best participants, but could still join in as part of a larger group.
Customer Review: Board Game
One of the best family games ever -- very fun and it made family time enjoyable

Packed with 16 hilarious activities, Cranium Family Fun gets you building, flipping, sketching, sculpting, guessing and laughing out loud together every time you play!
Customer Review: Family Funtime
My children received this game as a gift and love playing it. It is a different game each time they play it. My two younger children are challenged while participating, they are 5 and 6 yrs. old. It is rated for an older age group but we have been able to include them on a team for them to play along. It has a been an engaging educational toy more than I imagined. They all have fun acting out the requests on the cards and laughing along as they try to complete it in the time alotted. It is a funtime for the family.
Customer Review: Fun for the younger ones not so much for anyone else.
I bought this game thinking that it was designed to entertain the whole family but I was mistaken. It's mainly for really young kids and isn't much fun for the adults or any teens.
Questions are really simple and easy to figure out for anyone above the age of 10.
Keep that in mind when thinking of purchasing this version of Cranium.

Cranium Hullabaloo

Cranium Hullabaloo Cranium Hullabaloo is the surprise-filled, high-energy game that turns bouncing off the walls into bouncing across the room! Players move from one colorful shape to another and use their bodies to perform the many Hullabaloo moves -- touch your nose to a circle, spin to a red, put your elbow on a musical instrument. When Hullabaloo says, "Freeze!" the player on the lucky pad wins! Every few minutes there's a new winner who gets to take a bow, make a victory jump, or do a funky monkey dance. Faster than a scavenger hunt, more creative than Simon Says, and able to make imaginative leaps past musical chairs, Hullabaloo provides hours of fun for any occasion -- birthday parties, play dates, even a rainy day. Ready to play? High-energy game loved by kids of all ages Jump, dance, wiggle, and giggle! Encourages listening and problem solving Thousands of variations for endless fun Easy to play -- just turn it on and go. Includes: A Hullabaloo talking audio console and 16 colorful play pads.
Customer Review: Popular by proxy!
All my relatives live in other countries so I had Hullabaloo sent to my nephews in Italy, the next I heard was that my nieces from America were visiting the Italians and that they were all (ages ranging from 1 - 8)having a whale of a time with Hullabaloo and then the next I heard was a parental request from the Americans, please could they have it for the next birthday too! So I've never ever seen this toy and already bought it twice, which I expect won't be the last!
Customer Review: Boring!
Although I can see where some kids (very young kids) would like this game, mine did not. I have three kids aged 2,4 &6 and they found it very boring and tired of it in about 3 minutes. There really is no point to it other than following directions and although the voice prompt is clear, it is not loud enough to hear over a a few kids so we couldn't even make out what the prompt was saying. I ended up returning it. You could easily make your own version of this at home with some colored paper and save $25!
