Customer Review: My 7 year old loves this!
I bought this for my second grade daughter for Christmas after she had played with a friend's. She LOVES it and can sit for long periods making up funny stories (mad libs style). Her friends come to play and they LOVE it too. It really captivates their imaginations while encouraging their use of vocabulary, which is a primary focus at this level in school. Cranium has such a knack for coming up with educationally sound toys that are fun and durable too. A+ in our book!
Customer Review: Creative and Fun!
I love this toy! My 7 yr. old little boy loves it too. He enjoys answering the questions and thinks the stories are funny. His twin brother, who is not as fond of toys like this, even enjoys it. They like being able to pick the story from the numerous selections on the dial. It is compact and can easily be taken on long car rides, especially nice for those children who are prone to getting carsick since there is very little looking down. It has 3 volume levels. Children who like to listen to stories and enjoy participation in stories will love this.

Cranium

Cranium For 4 or more players

Cranium is an amazing party game that brings friends and family together through 14 fun and riotous activities. You won't believe what your friends and family can do as your team hums, whistles, sketches, sculpts, acts, puzzles and even spells backwards to win.

Cranium's outrageous activities are organized into four card decks: Creative Cat will have you sketching, sculpting with clay and even drawing with your eyes closed. Star Performer asks you to hum or whistle a tune, impersonate a celebrity or act out a clue. Word Worm requests you unscramble words, spell challenging ones, guess definitions, fill in the blanks and even spell backwards. Data Head stimulates your gray matter by testing your knowledge of trivia with provocative true/false queries and challenging multiple choice questions.
Customer Review: Great game (with some limits for families with kids)
We really enjoy this game at our house. We've played it a number of times with different guests and we always have a lot of fun with it. There is a lot of action between drawing and acting and singing. The only problem is that since my kids are in their early teens, there are just way too many songs that they don't know. We handle that by splitting teams so each team has a mixed generation. When I know that the kids won't know a song, then we just pull another card. The sculpting and drawing and charades are probably our favorite part.

Over all, I'm really glad we bought this game. We have loads of fun, squealing and laughing as we rush to beat the timer. I would recommend this as a great way to spend time together.
Customer Review: It was a lot of fun!
The very first time this game was played in our home was at a family gathering and only the teenagers played. They were able to put down their cell phones and ipods long enough to enjoy face to face time with other family members. They had so much fun that they wanted to play again and include the adults (go figure!). After that it became a favorite for family nights and at family functions. It challenges you with words (word scramble, meanings, and spelling), trivia questions, creativity (drawings, sculpting with clay) and performing (acting like a famous person, charades). You never know what you have to do next!
