Cranium - Cranium Cariboo

Cranium Cariboo

Cranium Cariboo

Cranium Cariboo is the all-new, magical treasure-hunt game designed especially for young minds. Kids will love exploring the golden island of Cariboo, where they'll find castles, boats, balloons and more. Their eyes will light up as each turn gives them the chance to match fun drawings, unlock secret doors and discover hidden treasure. Multiple matching activities reinforce four early-learning fundamentals: ABCs, numbers, shapes and colors.

Customer Review: Cariboo is a hit with my grandchildren

I ordered Cariboo for two sets of grandchildren. Both found the game highly entertaining and stimulating. The mother's loved it too. My order through Amazon arrived in Houston in good time even amidst hurricane Ike.

Customer Review: Great game for toddlers/preschoolers

Our 2.5 year old loves this game! Educational and fun. Can be modified to make it easier for younger kids or a bit more challenging for preschoolers.

Cranium - Cranium Bumparena

Cranium Bumparena

Cranium Bumparena

Cranium Bumparena is the outrageous game that keeps everyone on the edge of their seats. Place the bumpers on the Bumparena board to guide the balls into your goal. Think you've got, the perfect plan' One twist of a bumper can change the outcome in a flash. And once the balls start to fall, you never know which way they'll roll. The first player to score six goals is the winner. No two games are the same, but each one is full of excitement and laughter. Everyone will enjoy its unpredictable fun.

Customer Review: not so much fun!!

We love the Cranium games at our home...we have several, however, this one fell short as far as we are concerned. The kids simply found it boring and enjoyed throwing the bouncing balls rather than playing the game. We'll stick too some of the other cranium games.

Customer Review: Lot's of Fun!

Bought this for my nephew's 7th birthday last year. It has gotten much play and is still in great shape. Lot's of fun/challenge arranging the bumpers to channel the balls in your direction. I enjoy playing with them as well. Highly reccomended!

Cranium - Cranium Wacky Words

Cranium Wacky Words

Cranium Wacky Words

Wacky Words is the madcap game of fill-in-the-blank fun. "Dear Diary... Johnny is the dreamiest monkey I know. He makes me feel like doughnuts in the springtime." What!? You and your family and friends will have hilarious fun working together to create headline stories, book reports, vacation postcards and even horoscopes in a game of fill-in-the-blank fun. Quick and easy to play. Game includes 20 story cards, five secret keepers, six dry-erase pens, eraser, letter spinner, scorecard and rules sheet. Tin measures 10" x 6.5". For 4-6 players.

Customer Review: Get ready for hilarious stories!

This is one of the most fun games parents can play with the 6 & older children. Spelling does not have to be perfect. Each person has a chance to be the judge of the answers, so kids are thoroughly involved.

One card is chosen for the game. The other players get a two sided magnetic yellow board to write their answers on; the judges reads the first sentence, which may have 1 or 2 blanks in it. The judge pushes the little spinner and that is the letter everyone must use for their first worrd. These are passed in, and mixed up -- then the judge distributes them again.

You may get your own, you may not. When the two blanks are filled, the judge reads all the answers (along with the sentences) and then chooses the winner to be written on the erasable story card.

The card passes to the next person, who becomes the judge. This continues until the story is completed -- then it is read. Very fun for both kids and adults.

Customer Review: Fun Had By All
This is a great game to play in a group, both individually and/or in teams. I had this game shipped to my daughter's dorm room at NYU and she now hosts Cranium Nights! The game requires a certain amount of luck, strategy and skill, and the participants need to be able to make fools of themselves in order to act out the various loopy challenges. OUr family is very competitive and this is our favorite board game (other than scrabble)! Hope you enjoy it as well! Cheers!
Customer Review: Good improvement over original
Cranium Turbo edition is a great improvement over the original. The main advantages are that the whole game tends to move faster, largely because you don't get stuck on one color space like you could in the first version, and great new categories that encourage more team members to participate. Good examples are the marionette-like charades, and a team-based Gnilleps (in contrast to the single player based type). Lastly, Humdingers are much easier now, using many youngsters' songs that more people will recognize (e.g., The Wheels on the Bus Go Round and Round) and not obscure pop songs.

The only con I have to mention is the timer. I'm not a big fan of electronic devices to needlessly simulate dice and a sandglass, but some of my friends think that it is an improvement.

Customer Review: fabulous game!
I bought this game to use with small groups of young (3rd grade and up) students, but have ended up using it with adults, too! Everyone loves this game. While it doesn't have any inherent conversation value (important in an ESL lesson) it can be easily adapted by asking about the choices that have been made. Yet another Cranium success!
Customer Review: cranium whoonu game
A fantastic & fun game for the whole family. Even 5 yr olds can join in! Easy & fun to play, but gets you thinking too! I highly recommend this game.

Cranium Cariboo - A Magical Treasure Hunt Game

Cranium Cariboo - A Magical Treasure Hunt Game 3 years & up. Magical treasure hunt game that reinforces four early learning fundamentals: letters, numbers, shapes and colors. Includes Cariboo Island game board, six treasure balls, two sets of cards (beginner and advanced), one key, a treasure chest, and rules sheet. For 2 to 4 players.
Customer Review: Great for kids Preschool to Middle School
I've played this game with my students, from preschool to middle school. The game helps preschoolers learn colors, shapes, and numbers. Middle school students love how fun it is. An excellent game!!!
Customer Review: Toddler's first game...
This was purchased as my 3 year old grandson's first game. He loved it from the moment it was taken out of the box and played it non-stop for almost 2 hours. The game is simple enough for a 3 year old to understand the concept, and the opening of the doors to find the brightly colored balls provides instant gratification. I am sorry to say that as much as Ethan loves the game, the main piece needed to play it, namely the "key" to open the doors, is not sturdy enough. As much as Ethan loves to play with this game, the tip of the key broke off, and now the game cannot be played. I am very disappointed, as is Ethan.
